Hoshinoya Karuizawa in the summer resort of Karuizawa

In late June, I stayed with my mother for three days and two nights in a room on the second floor of Yamaji!

There's a shuttle bus from Karuizawa Station, so we booked it in advance. The bus was spacious and the seats were plush. 💺
We arrived at Hoshinoya Karuizawa in about 15 minutes.

Even though we arrived over an hour earlier than check-in time, we were still able to check in. I'm so grateful.

Being on the second floor, the room had a high, open roof and felt like a villa. ☺️
There was even a sofa on the balcony where you could lounge around.

For meals, you can choose from the hotel's main dining area, Kasuke, or in-room dining. A free shuttle bus runs around the area, so it's also a great way to take a trip to Harunire Terrace!

On clear days, the starry sky is so beautiful you can even capture it on your iPhone camera. ⭐️

The staff were also the most welcoming of any hotel I've ever stayed at!

There's also an outlet mall right in front of Karuizawa Station, so you can enjoy shopping there too!

I highly recommend everyone to visit Hoshinoya Karuizawa!
