A Booklover’s Paradise: Inside BookXcess KL📚

I absolutely love BookXcess stores! Every branch I’ve visited feels like stepping into a wonderland for book lovers. The massive spaces, creative designs, and maze-like bookshelves make browsing a real adventure. Plus, the prices are super affordable, and there’s a wide range of English books for all ages.

My favourite location is the BookXcess in Lalaport Mall. It’s air-conditioned, spacious, and very easy to navigate. I noticed it draws more fellow bookworms than tourists, which makes the atmosphere calm and inviting—perfect for taking my time and discovering new titles.

On the other hand, the RexKL branch offers a completely different vibe. It's built inside an old cinema and designed like a real book maze. Walking through it felt like an adventure in itself, with books around every corner. But I have to admit—it was quite hot and crowded when I went, and finding a specific book wasn’t the easiest. If you're sensitive to heat, I’d suggest bringing a fan, some water, and preparing for a bit of a crowd. Still, the unique layout and vintage vibes make it a fun place to explore—and it’s definitely very Instagram-worthy!
