Tofuku-ji is another temple to see red leaves that you shouldn't miss in Kyoto. I highly recommend it. You could say that it's the temple to see the most beautiful changing leaves on my trip. I recommend coming from mid-November to early December. For transportation, if you come to Fushimi Inari or the Orange Pillar Shrine, you can walk there. Or you can take the train for just one stop and walk a bit more. You'll reach the temple.
