A collaboration between weeping plum and camellia!

Jonangu Shrine in Kyoto's Fushimi Ward

I visited in mid-March!

The weeping plum blossoms were at their peak, and a wide variety of camellias greeted me!

It looks beautiful in photos, but seeing it in person is several times better.

This shrine is also known for its protection from evil spirits, and is often visited for prayers for car purification and road safety.

When the weeping plum blossoms are in full bloom, the parking lot fills up even on weekdays, leading to long waits. However, the day I visited was a cold day with snow threatening to fall, so I was able to get in easily.

The parking lot is free and can accommodate approximately 200 cars.
The parking lot attendants were plentiful and very helpful!

📍Address: 7 Nakajima Toba Rikyu-cho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto
💞Reason for recommendation: I'm not usually particularly impressed by flowers, but this is a place I'd like to recommend to everyone!
