Leaving Osaka for a trip to Kyoto, stop by Nishiki Market for some food and a must-see at Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine.

The shrine is home to numerous plum trees that bloom from mid-February to early March.

There are also popular amulets and the sacred water "Nishiki Water" (Gojinsui) that bubbles up from over 30 meters underground.

This shrine features traditional Japanese architecture, decorated with bright colors and a prominent torii gate.

There's also a statue of a cow, believed to be said to cure illness if you rub its forehead.
