Lijiang Golden Pagoda Temple

Lijiang Golden Pagoda Temple is a relatively quiet tourist destination located about 4 kilometers from downtown Lijiang in Yunnan Province. This temple serves as the center of Lijiang's Buddhist culture and is also a key travel route connecting Lijiang in Yunnan and Lhasa in Tibet, making it an important path for exploring Chinese-Tibetan culture and ethnic minorities.

Originally built during the early Tang Dynasty, the site has been renovated over the years and now features a spacious park. The magnificent temple and the large golden pagoda visible across from it are the main attractions that draw visitors here. Since it is not a crowded spot, it is highly recommended to visit. However, as there is limited shade, be sure to bring a parasol.
