[Day trip to Macau] Recommended sightseeing spots

Take a day trip to Macau, about an hour by ferry from Hong Kong! ✈️
The Macau Peninsula, home to many World Heritage Sites, is packed with tourist attractions, making for a great city walk.
We also ventured to the Taipa district, where you'll find charming architecture, to fully enjoy the Portuguese-Asian atmosphere. 🇵🇹✨

📍Senado Square
The center of Macau, with its beautiful undulating cobblestone streets.
Surrounded by cafes, sweet shops, and shops, it's the perfect starting point for sightseeing. The beautiful nighttime illuminations make it a popular photo spot.
The General Civil Administration Office and the Hall of Mercy Building, located just off the square, are also World Heritage Sites!

📍Ruins of St. Paul's
Macau's most popular and iconic spot!
The remains of a church, with only the front wall remaining after a fire, are truly impressive.
The view of the Old Town from the top of the stairs is also a must-see. In fact, the square right in front of you is also a World Heritage Site!
🕓9:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 💰Free

📍Na Tcha Temple
This small temple is located right next to the Ruins of St. Paul's.
It is dedicated to Na Tcha, the young deity from Chinese mythology.
It is an iconic spot unique to Macau, where Christianity and traditional Chinese beliefs coexist side by side.
🕓8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / 💰Free

📍San Gai Hall (Kuandi Temple)
This temple, located in a back alley of Senado Square, is dedicated to Guan Yu, the patron deity of merchants. Built in the late 19th century, it once served as a meeting place for merchants.
The flickering red lights and smoke from incense burners create a tranquil space steeped in history.
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 💰 Free

📍St. Dominic's Church
Right next to Senado Square, this church's bright yellow exterior is a striking sight.
Constructed in the late 16th century, this Baroque-style building boasts notable stained glass and a wooden altar.
The church also houses a religious art museum.
🕓10:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 💰 Free

〈Bonus〉
📍Nüwa Temple
While not a World Heritage Site, it's highly recommended!
The temple enshrines the "Nüwa" (Groom of the Bride), who, in Chinese mythology, is considered the "goddess who created humanity" and is also revered as the patron deity of matchmaking, family harmony, and women.
🕓8:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 💰Free

I started sightseeing around 3:00 PM, so I only managed to see this much, but if you start in the morning, it's not a dream to visit all 30 World Heritage sites in one day! ✨💕
Please come and visit!
