Hidden Temple in the Mountains: The Gold Shrine

Not all treasure is gold—some are hidden in the mountains! The Gold Shrine (黄金神社) sits high above Jinguashi, offering breathtaking panoramic views of rolling green hills and the sea.

Climbing the stone steps lined with traditional Japanese torii gates felt like a journey to another world. Once at the top, I found a stone lantern with the inscription “奉纳” (dedication), standing proudly as a silent guardian of the shrine.

This shrine was originally built to honor miners, and despite being partly in ruins, it holds a serene beauty that makes the climb worthwhile. Highly recommended for nature lovers and photographers! 📸
