New Taipei Museum of Fine Arts | "Tension" Exhibition: Seeing Symbiosis in Tension

Upon entering the New Taipei City Museum of Fine Arts, the exhibition's theme, "Tension," is immediately apparent. Running from August 16 to December 21, 2025, the exhibition, centered around the theme "Relational Fields," seeks to use art to depict the invisible yet real tensions and connections between people, individuals and society, and the environment and time.

In the exhibition, works in diverse media interact with one another: some abstract paintings depict the rupture and reconfiguration of relationships, while others, through installation art, create interactive tension between the viewer and the space. As you pause to observe, you'll discover that "tension" isn't simply conflict; it can also be a force, a force that prompts reflection and compels dialogue.
