The wavy design of the Turkish Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka Kansai Expo symbolizes Turkey's proximity to the Mediterranean and Black Seas. The entrance welcomes visitors with the "crescent and star" emblem from the national flag. The interior features boron-coated wood, a rich source of boron in Turkey.
As a meeting point of Eastern and Western civilization, the Turkish Pavilion's theme is "Golden Age of Civilization." From the Göbekli Tepe ruins over 10,000 years ago to the Ottoman Empire, the pavilion connects accumulated historical knowledge with visions for the future. Inside, there's a Turkish Airlines business class demo and plenty of local products to shop for.
