[Osaka] Osaka City Museum of Natural History

#0YenTravel2025Autumn

Located in a corner of Nagai Botanical Garden, this natural history museum offers fascinating exhibits and commentary on the Jomon and Yayoi period people's relationship with nature, based on recent excavations.
It also houses dinosaur skeletons excavated within Osaka Prefecture and various other valuable collections.
The dinosaur skeletons and fin whale bones are particularly impressive.
There's also an exhibition area where you can learn about the lives of living creatures through games and videos, and children on field trips enjoyed learning while playing.
It's amazing that you can touch dinosaur fossils, ammonites, and black quartz crystals.
Since this is a rare opportunity, I decided to touch them.

Admission: ¥300
