At Osaka Municipal Nagai Botanical Garden (Higashisumiyoshi Ward, Osaka City), where seasonal flowers bloom, the Muehlenbergia capillaris (Poaceae, genus Muehlenbergia) is in full bloom, turning a beautiful pink.

It's a dreamlike world of pink.
The fluffy, swaying flower spikes of Muehlenbergia capillaris are a lovely pale pink.
They begin to grow white towards the end of summer and gradually turn from pink to reddish-purple.
