#Seoul Itinerary
The reddish-brown stone city gate stands tall. Heunginjimun (commonly known as Dongdaemun) is the most complete Joseon Dynasty city wall building still existing in Seoul. This ancient city gate, built in 1398, has witnessed Seoul's magnificent transformation from Hanyang City to a modern city. It is especially recommended to visit at dusk, when the afterglow of the setting sun shines on the mottled city walls, as if opening the door to time and space✨.
Take a stroll to the adjacent Dongdaemun History Park, which showcases the remains of Seoul’s city wall in an innovative way. The most amazing thing is the underground exhibition hall, where you can directly see the foundation of the Joseon Dynasty city wall through the transparent glass floor. The design that blends the old and the new is amazing! The rest spaces found everywhere in the park are a great place to observe the daily lives of Seoul citizens👨👩👧👦.
