Fun memories from Sokcho

When I arrived at Sokcho early in the morning, it was
unbelievably clear and blue.

The moment I saw the Seoraksan ridge and the clear sky outside the car window,
I thought this trip would be great.

After unpacking at my accommodation,
I headed to Sokcho Beach.
The gently rolling waves,
the sea sparkling in the sunlight,
and the wind mixed with the smell of the sea
relaxed my tired body and mind.

For lunch, I had squid sundae and fried food at the central market.

After a glass of soju,
that place was healing.

The lively voices of the market people
and the warm hospitality made my mood warm.

As I walked slowly to Yeongrangho,
I put aside the noise of the city for a moment.

The sunset reflected on the lake,
and the time quietly flowing,
I felt the leisure of Sokcho with my whole body.

A short but deeply recharged day. Sokcho is always right.
Next time, I definitely want to stay longer.
