Beitou Hot Spring (Beitou Onsen) is Taipei's most famous hot spring area. It's not far from the city center and easily accessible via the MRT. ♨️🌿

📍 Location: Beitou District, northern Taipei. Take the MRT Red Line to Beitou Station, then transfer to the light rail to Xinbeitou Station. The hot spring area is within walking distance.

⏰ Opening Hours:
This area is open 24/7, but the public hot springs are open morning, afternoon, and evening (check individual hot spring times). The museum is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

🌟 Highlights:

Beitou Thermal Valley (地熱谷) is a natural hot spring with steam rising like mist, with blue-green water reaching temperatures as high as ~90°C.

The Beitou Hot Spring Museum, a Japanese-style wooden building, was once a colonial-era bathhouse. Today, it exhibits the history of the hot springs.

Public hot springs, such as Beitou Public Hot Spring (affordable), or hotels/resorts offering private onsen.
