I went to "huiloveit Hui Shang Fen" in Taipei's Zhongshan District in search of "Dan Huang Su," a famous Taiwanese pastry. 🥮

Dan Huang Su is the shop's signature item, featuring a whole red bean and a large salted duck egg yolk inside a pastry crust. 🆒

Yu Tou Su is a light purple taro pastry crust filled with taro. It's filled with bean paste and mochi rice cakes, and in the center is a melt-in-your-mouth salted egg yolk. When you cut into it, the oozing egg yolk flows beautifully.

Both are sweet and salty, and the cross-section is absolutely beautiful! 🤩
