Next year will be destined. Whenever I feel irritable, I want to find a place in the temple where there is no one and I want to be in a daze, as if being in a daze can make me happy!

I have been to Hongluo Temple many times throughout the year, especially in summer, but this is the first time I have been to Hongluo Temple for a solo trip outside of holidays. The temple is small and there are few tourists, which is just what I want!

The bamboo forest at the entrance of Hongluo Temple has become a popular check-in spot for many tourists. It is quiet and cool in the hot summer, with no one around, and the heat disappears.

If possible, please try to ignore selfies of myself today! We agreed to come here to daydream, so I sat quietly in this pavilion, leaning against a pillar, for an hour, with a bamboo forest behind me and a flowing fountain in front of me. The air was filled with the fragrance of bamboo and the sound of intermittent chanting came from afar. In this situation, staying still is the best choice! Here are a few of the few pictures I have! I really came here to daydream, because this place is perfect for daydreaming. It would be a waste of time to spend taking pictures instead!

Because it is a weekday, there are not many pilgrims and tourists, which makes this quiet Buddhist place even more peaceful. According to historical records, Hongluo Temple was built in the fourth year of Xiankang in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (338 AD). It was originally named "Daming Temple" (it was renamed "Huguo Zifu Zen Temple" during the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty. Because of the wonderful legend of the Hongluo Fairy, it is commonly known as "Hongluo Temple"). Hongluo Temple is one of the eight scenic spots in Huairou.

In Beijing, it is widely circulated among the people, "Men go to Yonghe Temple, women go to Hongluo Temple", which means that men go to Yonghe Temple to pray for the best results, while women go to Hongluo Temple to pray for the best results, especially for seeking marriage. There is another place in Hongluo Temple that I like most in summer. It is this place halfway up the back mountain. I forgot what it is called. Anyway, there is a thin stream coming down from the top of the mountain. The water flows very fast and is very cool. In summer, many people stroll in it barefoot. This time, maybe it is because it is not the rainy season yet, there is no water, which left me with a little regret. Maybe it is meant to guide me to come back in a few days;

After spending an afternoon in the temple, my irritability disappeared and I felt like I had regained my strength. It was a small recharge, which allowed me to continue fighting for a while;
