Due to work reasons, I can't take my kids on a long trip for now, so while I'm in Beijing for work, I took them for a stroll in Chaoyang Park to challenge myself to a game of bravery.
I have to say, Chaoyang Park is a truly comforting place in this concrete metropolis. At noon, sunlight filters through the leaves, scattering specks of light onto the ground, flickering and swaying the shadows of the trees, making people feel intoxicated. Occasionally, I'd come across elderly people playing cards in the shade, enjoying the cool breeze, and I'd secretly envy their carefree and carefree atmosphere.
The journey between Beijing and Tianjin is shorter than a short stroll to your local supermarket. But the journey from Beijing Station to Chaoyang Park feels like climbing a mountain—it always seems so close, yet feels so far. So, if you're visiting Beijing, don't drive; the high-speed rail is much more convenient. After arriving at Beijing South Station, take Line 14 directly to Chaoyang Park—it's a real treat!
The park is equipped with electric carts, but I personally recommend renting one. After all, this is the largest park within Beijing's Fourth Ring Road, so the journey can be a bit demanding.
The happy gorillas in the park can help build children's courage and confidence. To be honest, it's a bit scary from below, and some of the rides require some mental preparation, even for adults. This was my child's first time, and he jumped on it very actively. At first, he knew nothing about the rides!
The staff were very professional. There was a tightrope section halfway through, and the child cried and wanted to get off, but the staff wouldn't let him. Haha, it really showed the kindness of an old mother!
While strolling around the park, I stumbled upon a small place called "Camp One", a place full of romance.
On a midsummer evening, you can gather with a few friends, pick a tent of your choice, and chat over coffee!
Chaoyang Park, the largest landscaped park within Beijing's Fourth Ring Road, truly amazes me. Each time I enter, I experience a different experience through a different entrance, and the further I go, the more scenery I see. I still remember my first visit in winter, when my child was only two years old. Standing by the lake, watching the sunset stretch out in the distance, picking up pine cones in the snow in the pine forest, and the gentle footsteps of children on the plastic track are all beautiful memories left to us by Chaoyang Park!
This is a great place to take the kids out and use up some energy! You can spend a whole day there!
