And Gaozhuang, eating and drinking are very convenient. You won't get tired of visiting the Starlight Night Market in Gaozhuang for a few days, and you can take into account the night view of the Lancang River.

For other attractions, such as the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wild Elephant Valley, Keno Cottage, Primitive Forest Park, Wangtianshu, Dushu Forest and other scenic spots, whether you live in Jinghong or Gaozhuang, it is the same, because they are all far away, either by car or chartered car. If you don't want to enter the store with a day trip, you can follow the official account "Banna Haoxing" on WeChat, and there is a direct train to various scenic spots, the only drawback is that there is a time limit, and the advantage is that you don't waste time if you don't enter the shopping store.
Hefei flew to Banna at half past 7 p.m., which is very gratifying, this time Western Airlines is very punctual. The hotels booked by China-TravelNote basically have a pick-up service, and it takes about 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel. My son and I put down our luggage and went to the Starlight Night Market, walking for more than ten minutes. On the way, you will pass by the Big Buddha Temple, and through the Big Buddha Temple, you will see a large night market. The first time I saw such a big and spectacular night market, I was a little shocked. There was a dazzling array of gadgets to eat and drink, and my son chose pineapple rice, lamb skewers, coconut juice, barbecue and jackfruit.
Now that I am used to a free and unrestrained itinerary, I still chose to charter a car after thinking about it. The daily fee is 200 yuan, because you have to take the highway to the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Wild Elephant Valley, so an additional 50 yuan per day is added to the highway.The next day we slept until after 9 a.m. and set off, and today's itinerary is only one attraction---- the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The botanical garden is large and divided into East and West zones. After listening to the advice of the chartered car master, I only bought a battery car in the West District. The East District is still under construction, and if you have time, I personally think you can still visit together. Friends who go in summer can stay for one night in the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, right in the scenic spot, summer is the rainy season, and you can see a lot of fireflies at night. This is a big regret to go in winter. The western area of the botanical garden is also divided into several areas, plants, herb garden, and vine garden. There are too many species of more than 1,000 species of plants, so my son and I chose to observe and take pictures that we were interested in. It's really a wonderful place, all kinds of rare plants. There are hot air balloons in the park, and the daring can try them. We were still in a hurry, leaving the attraction at about 2 o'clock and returning to the city at about 3 o'clock.
In the evening, I booked a bonfire party in Manting Park and took a nap at the inn.Tickets are still bought by the hotel chartered car master, adults and children are 200 yuan per person, and it is slightly more expensive to book online. There will be two bonfire parties in the peak season and one in the off-season, and we don't have many people this time, starting at half past six in the evening, an hour of buffet time. The performance started at 7:40, and after the performance, there was a river lantern ceremony, and finally friends from all over the world danced around the bonfire under the leadership of the scenic spot personnel. The event ends at about 9:30 p.m. Decided to go to the Wild Elephant Valley, so you don't have to ride an elephant in Manting Park.
On the third day, I still slept until I woke up naturally, ready to go to Wild Elephant Valley--- Kino Cottage--- Primitive Forest Park, these three attractions are a line. Finally, I considered getting up early the next day to go to the forest and abandoned the primeval forest park. Wild Elephant Valley is mainly to watch elephant performances, and there are also elephant performances in Manting Park in Jinghong City, so if you are short on time, you can go to Manting Park. After reading some guides, it seems that the elephant performance in Wild Elephant Valley is richer and more exciting. We went to see the performance in Wild Elephant Valley, but we didn't go to watch the performance in Manting Park. We entered from the gate of the Wild Elephant Valley, watched the elephant show and took pictures, walked forward to see the butterfly garden, and then took pictures with peacocks and parrots, and continued to walk forward on the plank road. The plank road is not very long, and it can be done slowly in an hour. Both sides of the plank road are primeval forest scenery, which is very beautiful to take pictures. If you are lucky, you can see wild elephants, but now there are generally very few. After walking the plank road, there is an elephant museum, and there is a small restaurant next to the museum, which can be added that you can go out directly from the north gate, and if you charter a car, you can not go back. If it is a through train, you have to go back the same way. There is a ropeway in the Wild Elephant Valley, I don't think it's necessary, just walk along the plank road, and take a few blockbusters by the way. We spent about 3 hours in the Wild Elephant Valley, and the exit was around 1 o'clock. The return trip to Keno Cottage is about half an hour away. Keno Cottage is the 56th ethnic group in our country, so I decided to find out. Each visitor will organize a small group led by a Keno guide to explain the local customs and customs. The cottage is not big, there are performances and snacks, and it takes about 2 hours to basically complete the tour. When you return to Gaozhuang from Keno Cottage, you will pass through the primeval forest park, and you can stop by and play together without regrets. The primeval forest park mainly looks at the release of peacocks and the primeval forest style. The Big Buddha Temple in Jinghong City also has peacocks flying, so we still gave up the primeval forest park.
Back at the inn at 4 o'clock, after we rested for 1 hour, we went to the Starlight Night Market again at about 5 o'clock. It is a very normal choice to go early, at the other exit of the Starlight Night Market, across the road is the Lancang River.At this point, the sunset shines on the Lancang River, whether it is along the river road or on the Kong Bridge, every photo has a unique feeling. My son and I looked at each other until dark before we went to forage.
Da Luo and Wangtianshu have different directions. Daluo is the border between China and Myanmar, and the more famous attractions there are unique forests. Wangtianshu is also an Internet celebrity check-in place, mainly to see the tropical rainforest scenery. Both attractions are very far away, the round-trip time is relatively long, and the charter fee is too expensive, which is more suitable for day trips or through trains. The border in my son's heart is surrounded by walls as high as the Great Wall, and in order to see is believable, we chose to take a one-day trip to Luo. There will be two points for group and through trains, one is Jinghong City, and the other is the gate of Gaozhuang. The inn is about 15 minutes away from the gate of Gaozhuang, and I got up at 6 o'clock in the morning and gathered at 7 o'clock to set off. Along the way, the tour guide told a lot about the growth history of Banna, which was very interesting and gave me more understanding of Banna.The tour guide's father is Han and his mother is Dai, and he also told about the contributions of Shanghai educated youth to Banna in the past. Arriving at the China-Myanmar border at 10 o'clock, it was very cold in the morning, and my son had a long T and a thin down, barely okay. The China-Myanmar border took a group photo, and in 20 minutes, everyone gathered to go to the unique forest scenic spot. Arrive at the scenic spot, led by the local guide to visit and explain, about 2 hours. The battery car is 40 yuan per person and is not included in the tour fee. First, I looked at the Shwedagon Pagoda of China-Myanmar Friendship from a distance, and felt the two countries on foot. Finally, we arrived at the solitary forest scenic spot, which is a big tree composed of 36 several roots, which is spectacular. At the end of the play, there will be a ladyboy show. At about 1 o'clock, follow the group to eat a group meal, and it's okay to be not too picky. On the return trip in the afternoon, we have two points: one is to visit the Hani people and introduce authentic Pu'er tea; The other is a rubber factory, introducing latex mattresses. Nannuo Mountain is the birthplace of Pu'er tea, and the Hani village is not open casually. In Nannuo Mountain, the Hani guide led us to understand the Hani people and their customs (no photos are allowed under the eaves, and the rest is not too particular), explaining the history and development of Pu'er tea. The village we visited was also the only village open to tourists, where we tasted the Pu-erh tea they picked themselves, raw, cooked, big trees, old trees, whether they bought it or not, they watched it themselves. When you are about to arrive in the city, you will pass by the sixth rubber factory, and the time here will be longer, about 2 hours. The first 1 hour has a variety of understanding of rubber, and will do various experiments, some of which are experiments that do not dare to be done elsewhere, but also do allow tourists to have a deeper understanding of latex, and have a better understanding of how to identify the content and benefits of latex. Whether to buy or not is still up to you, but you can only leave at some point. We arrived in Gaozhuang at about half past seven, and still went directly to the Starlight Night Market to forage for food.
On the last day, we slept until we woke up naturally, packed our luggage and put it directly in the chartered master's car. Today, it is mainly the attractions of Jinghong City, the Great Buddha Temple and Manting Park. Arrived at the Big Buddha Temple around 11:30 and ate casserole rice noodles at the door, although it was a very simple stall, but the taste was very good. After entering the gate, a staff member persuaded him to buy a battery ticket. I personally don't think it's necessary. After entering the gate at about 12 o'clock, I went directly to the peacock garden and fed and took pictures for 10 yuan. At 1 o'clock, 3 o'clock, and 5 o'clock, the peacock was released, and we waited until 1 o'clock to finish the peacock release and start climbing. The mountain is not high, and my son and I took pictures while walking and descending the mountain at about 2 o'clock. Just in time for the water splashing activity, the water splashing activity started at 2 o'clock and started at half past two. Hurriedly rented props for his son, with a deposit of 100 yuan and a rent of 40 yuan (including clothes, slippers, and small basins). I have seen the wild elephant show in the Wild Elephant Valley, but I haven't seen it here again, my son and I walked around and chatted and patted, staying for nearly 3 hours. When my son heard that he was going directly to the airport, he couldn't bear to leave.
If I had one more day, I would love to see the Wangtianshu.If it's summer, I really want to take my son to experience the fairy tale world full of fireflies, and there are always some regrets every time. Xishuangbanna is very suitable for children, with all kinds of strange plants, customs of various ethnic groups, primeval forest features, ordinary but yearning borders, every place is scenery, every place is knowledge.
