Day1, December 21, Shanghai→Dali

The three-month-long preparation for the Yunnan trip has finally come true. Millions of words are omitted here...

Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, I found that the three destinations of this Yunnan trip all have the word "Li" in their names. It is really more appropriate to summarize it as a LYLYLY trip

Early in the morning, before dawn, I arrived at Hongqiao Airport to take a Spring Airlines flight to Lijiang Sanyi International Airport.

On the plane, we were greeted by the first rays of morning sunshine.

Just after 10 a.m., the plane was already over Erhai Lake. Our first stop, the Ancient Town of Dali, was hidden among these tiny buildings.

As the drive from Lijiang Sanyi Airport to Dali takes about 2 hours, we arrived at the inn around 1:30 p.m.

The inn we stayed in this time was called Mishe.

There's a cafe on the first floor of the inn.

You can sit down and chat, daydream, or drink coffee.

The guest rooms of the inn are clean and tidy

There is a sunroom on the second floor of the inn where you can sunbathe.

The biggest reason for choosing this B&B is that there is a large terrace on the top floor.

From here, you can overlook the entire Dali Ancient City.

The weather is clear and cloudless.

Walking out of the inn, you’ll find the ancient city’s Foreigner Street just outside.

Walking west along Foreigner Street, you will arrive at Fuxing Road, the scenic pedestrian street of Dali Ancient Town.

There are two city towers on Fuxing Road, one of which is called Wuhua Tower

Climbing up the Wuhua Tower, you can see the entire ancient city of Dali.

Continue along Fuxing Road and you will find the South Gate Tower of Dali Ancient City not far ahead.

This is also the entrance to the southern end of the ancient city scenic area.

Walking through the ancient city, the top of Cangshan Mountain in the distance is covered with snow, which looks particularly charming against the blue sky.

Although it is the end of the year, it is already late autumn for Dali.

The ginkgo trees along the road are a brilliant golden yellow.

As night falls, the lights of the South Gate Tower of Dali Ancient Town are also lit up.

The night is deep, and the moon has risen.

The night at Mishe Inn is quiet and warm.

Day 2, December 22, Dali Shuanglang Day Trip

In the early morning of Dali, the air is cold, but the sky is warm

The eastern sky gradually brightened, and the colors of the morning glow gradually became richer.

At sunrise, the golden sunlight illuminated the entire ancient city.

As the sun rises, the Cangshan Mountains behind the ancient city begin to present a magnificent view of the sun shining on the golden mountain.

The morning after sunrise, the blue sky is spotless, and a new day begins.

Shuanglang Ancient Town is located in the upper right corner of Erhai Lake. It takes about an hour to get there by car from Dali Ancient Town.

After passing through the main gate of the ancient town, the long stone road in front of you is the main road of the ancient town, the Ethnic Culture Street.

The shops along the street have a strong ethnic flavor.

On a sunny morning, dogs on the roadside were leisurely basking in the sun.

If you want to choose the best place to view Erhai Lake, Shuanglang Ancient Town must be mentioned.

Here, you can see the purest and most spotless Erhai Lake.

Zhenhai Street in Shuanglang Ancient Town is a seaside promenade.

Here, the blue sky, white clouds, Erhai Lake, and the ancient town form a beautiful picture.

Crossing Shuanglang Wharf, you'll reach the coastal corridor of Shuanglang Ancient Town. Overlooking Erhai Lake from here offers a completely different experience.

The greenery along the way is very beautiful.

In the viewing pavilion ahead, tourists are feeding seagulls.

As the food was dropped, the seagulls began to dance.

Erhai Wetland Park is a place we happened to pass by on the way back.

This is also a good place to get close to Erhai Lake.

When you feel tired while walking, find a place to sit down and have a cup of warm afternoon tea.

Coming to this Liu-Bai-Villa restaurant, the environment is very elegant.

Day3, December 23, Dali City → Dali Ideal State

I heard the sound of raindrops hitting the eaves

The morning sky is very gloomy

In the morning, on the Xingsheng Bridge in downtown Dali

The broad river before us is called Erhe River

Next to the Xingsheng Bridge is the estuary where the Erhe River flows into Erhai Lake

Walking along the river, the vast Erhai Lake is in the distance.

Many seagulls live on Erhai Lake.

The Binhai Avenue opposite Erhai Park is also the southernmost point of Erhai Lake.

The pavilion in front is the Haixin Pavilion, which is deep in the Erhai Lake.

After lunch, the sky miraculously cleared up.

In Dali, there is a paradise on earth known as the Chinese Santorini. This place is called Ideal State.

Ideal State is located in Haidong Town, Dali, right on the shores of Erhai Lake and across the sea from the Dali Ancient Town.

Beside the Haidong Road in Haidong Town, the Erhai Lake on a clear day is so pure, clear and beautiful.

After passing a travel photography studio, the entrance setting has a very holiday feeling.

This place has a beautiful environment and is a paradise on earth.

The ideal country under the sunset becomes more charming under the light of pale golden sunlight.

It was already evening. Thankfully, the weather was perfect, allowing our afternoon trip to Ideal Bang to come to a successful conclusion.

Day4, December 24, Dali Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas → Lijiang

Dali Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas Scenic Area is one of Dali’s most representative landmarks

Just happened to catch up with the ticket discount policy for tourists from other provinces and cities. You can enter the scenic area for free with the place of residence on your ID card. I have to give a big thumbs up to the scenic area here

The Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas Scenic Area is very long, and the Three Pagodas are just the beginning.

Climb up the bell tower and overlook the three towers

Go to the second floor of the bell tower and you can overlook the ancient city of Dali nearby

The real Chongsheng Temple is in front of the Guanyin Hall.

In front of Chongsheng Temple is a wide square.

The Medicine Master Hall is next to the square.

Due to the long journey to Lijiang, we had to leave early.

On the way to the exit, I came across a very beautiful peach tree and couldn't help but pick up my camera again.

There is a best shooting spot not far from the exit. It is indeed a very good shooting position. You can see the three towers in the distance and their reflections in the water.
