As the song "Colorful South of Yunnan" sounded, the plane slowly landed at Changshui Airport in Kunming, Yunnan. Looking out the window at the familiar yet unfamiliar scene, I was so excited! After 5 years, I'm back in Yunnan, the land of colorful clouds.

This is what I was thinking. Actually, I'd wanted to go there a month ago, but kept hesitating. Finally, I decided to go. Airfare has indeed gone up. Last time I joined a tour group, but this time I want to wander around on my own. My flight is this afternoon, and I'm about to leave. Here's a photo I took on my last trip to Yunnan: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

As I mentioned, my last tour group tour took us to Kunming, Stone Forest, Dali, the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, Lijiang, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and so on. This time, I want to avoid those routes, but I still have to go to Lijiang, just to experience it and record this part of my trip. So that I can leave a memory for myself. As I get older, I'll have fewer opportunities to move around, and even fewer to travel far. Let's cherish every moment we have.

After a day and night of trekking, I finally arrived in Lijiang at 10 a.m. this morning.

We took the Airport Express to Hefei Airport at 1:00 PM on the 24th. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed, but luckily it took off an hour later. We arrived at Kunming Changshui International Airport at 10:00 PM, leaving only an hour and a half until the 11:30 PM train from Kunming to Lijiang. There were no trains on Kunming Express Line 2, so we took a taxi to Kunming Railway Station. The lights were green all the way—what a coincidence! We bought our tickets and boarded the train, finally feeling relieved. Then we went to sleep.

I saw a restaurant recommended by many people online. It is located in Shuhe Ancient Town, Lijiang. We happened to be staying in Shuhe Ancient Town this time, so we checked in this restaurant in the evening.

The restaurant is large and the environment is very nice. All aspects are very good. The service is also very good and enthusiastic.

The food is very good. Every dish we ordered tasted very good, the portions were very generous, and the prices were affordable. Many celebrities have eaten at this specialty restaurant. Friends who travel to Lijiang should not miss it!

I got up in the morning, packed my things, and walked from the hotel to the bus station, which was about 10 minutes away. Then I waited for the bus to depart.

It’s really dangerous to go to Lugu Lake.

Yesterday afternoon, we arrived at Daluoshui Village on Lugu Lake. We found a hotel and headed to the lake. The scenery was truly beautiful. While we were walking along the road, a car pulled up beside us. The driver asked, "Would you like to charter a car for a tour around the lake?" I looked at him, wondering what to say. We were actually thinking about doing that, too. At this time, a woman in her twenties said, "Don't call me a liar. We are also from other places. We just want to take two people on a tour around the lake." I said, "Sure, how much is it?" She said 50 yuan, and I said okay. She asked for my phone number, and I continued to call local tour operators around the lake. They wanted 75 yuan or more. I took a leisurely walk. After dinner that night, I met a couple. They said they could book tickets online for 50 yuan per person, which was convenient. Sure enough, they bought them online. I went back to the hotel to sleep, and it rained all night. I was in a terrible mood.

Fortunately, the rain stopped around 8 o'clock this morning. The driver I arranged online took us on a tour around the lake.
