I woke up naturally early in the morning, packed up, and drove to the Main Buddhist Temple.

It's said that over a thousand years ago, the Mengle Palace of Xishuangbanna was built near Mandou Village, Mangge Community, Yunjinghong Sub-district Office. At that time, this area was a key political district in Xishuangbanna. Many temples in this area moved away, but only Wazhuangde Buddhist Temple remained, serving Buddhist believers in Jinghongjiangbei (north bank of the Lancang River). It wasn't until Buddhist temples were built in Dai villages north of Jinghongjiangbei that Wazhuangde Temple gradually declined. The stone pillars of the main hall of Wazhuangde Buddhist Temple are still preserved within the ruins. It was rebuilt in 2016 with the help of the Buddhist Association. Wazhuangde Buddhist Temple is a key Buddhist temple for the Dai and Leu believers in Xishuangbanna, and Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand even donated to the Main Buddhist Temple.

Coming out of the Imperial Garden, it was already noon, so I found a Dai-style restaurant nearby.

Since it wasn't a good time to go out on such a rainy day, we pulled out our tea set, boiled some water, turned on some music, and pulled out our phones to organize our photos and make a video. It was a peaceful and beautiful afternoon.

At 6 p.m., the rain stopped, the sky cleared, and we drove to Gaozhuang Starry Sky Night Market again. We wanted to see the Six Nations Floating Market. After asking around, we learned that the Mekong River Floating Market was no longer in existence, replaced by a wooden boardwalk-style market and a Six Nations concert. We ordered some teppanyaki and juice there, and enjoyed the fireworks of Banna after the epidemic in the hustle and bustle!

Go back and rest!
