I took a taxi to the Hilton Hotel near the airport and checked in. I didn't have any plans this morning, so I wanted to catch up on some sleep. I didn't expect to get up so early and still make it in time for breakfast! Before leaving this morning, Tutu pulled on some cotton pants. Apparently, it was too cold to take off her down jacket after getting off the plane. The tofu pudding is recommended! Afterward, the lady served her white fungus soup and hot cocoa (⊙﹏⊙). So full! We rented a car and set off! Our first stop was the Yunnan Ethnic Village. It was raining and quite cold, and they say we caught the coldest days in Kunming! We shared an electric scooter with someone to get into the park, which was 171cm long. It was raining, so we really didn't feel like strolling around!

After feeding the seagulls, I went to pick up my classmates from Pu'er. After contacting them, I found out they were also feeding the seagulls at Haigeng Park. There weren't as many seagulls at the park as at the dam, so I suggested feeding the seagulls at Haigeng Dam. Fate is a wonderful kind of tacit understanding! After picking them up, there was a joke about how expensive the bread was: 3 bags for 10 yuan. After all the talk, we didn't buy the same thing. So I bought my ticket directly at the ticket office. I even bought a pink raincoat! It's as famous as Wulong, but I personally prefer Wulong!
After returning from Shilin, I found a Shaxian snack bar near Kunming South Railway Station. The food was delicious. After lunch, I returned to the station and took the intercity bus. It took 3 hours to get to Banna! It was drizzling when I got in the online taxi. The driver, a man from Northeast China, was very friendly and chatty. He told me that the rain would stop soon and we could go to the night market later! Gaozhuang was extremely congested, and the streets were narrow and crowded! When we were stuck in traffic, the driver told us to look at the densely packed swallows on the electric poles on the street, which is the characteristic of that street!
You have to scan your ID or WeChat QR code to book a ticket to enter the Starlight Night Market. I found a durian cake stand and ordered a deluxe version. I raved about it and gave it five stars! After booking the Faustiano Hotel in Mengla, I rented a hybrid car. Charging is not very convenient in Banna. I can watch anime on the passenger seat, and Tutu is watching Conan on the passenger seat. I can finally escape the clutches of Banna (￣︶￣)↗! The distribution map of Banna scenic spots, which I found online, is quite vivid!
The car rental location is very close to Mengle Grand Buddha Temple, so this will be our first stop!
On the way, we passed by RT-Mart in Splashing Water Square. I saw it when I took a taxi to Gaozhuang yesterday, and got off the car to buy some fruits for the journey! The lunch we had in the supermarket tasted terrible! Looking down from the canopy corridor, I couldn't see the bottom. After looking down, I felt dizzy and my legs went weak (⊙﹏⊙). In front of me were kindergarten children studying. For breakfast, the hotel gave Tutu a complimentary breakfast, which was very rich! After a full meal, we went to the Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. There was thick fog in the valley next to the highway for a long section, but there was no fog on the highway. It was amazing!
The Botanical Garden is well worth a visit. Just buy the ticket and bus for the west section. The other section isn't worth seeing. It's important to follow the guide; the explanations are fascinating. Just be careful not to touch anything; there are lots of poisonous plants! By the time I took out my phone while taking photos of the hot air balloons from the car, the best spot for photos had already passed! (ノへ￣、)

While waiting for the sightseeing bus, Tutu hurried to find something to eat and bought himself a bamboo tube rice dumpling! For lunch, he bought roasted sweet potatoes, corn, and drip coffee in the park! The sweet potatoes and corn were 10 yuan each, and the coffee was 25 yuan.

Next stop: Wild Elephant Valley! Wild Elephant Valley is the worst attraction I’ve visited in recent days! Early morning flight from Banna to Tianjin, connecting in Lijiang. Dicos at Lijiang Airport is quite good value for money! JD members have access to a lounge. Mr. Bi had a bowl of beef instant noodles. Every time I go out, Tutu is my little housekeeper! The trip is over, looking forward to my next trip to Banna!
