Kaifeng City Wall, also known as the Kaifeng Prefecture City Wall from the Qing Dynasty, is located in Kaifeng City, Henan Province. On November 20, 1996, it was designated by the State Council as a fourth-batch National Key Cultural Relics Protection Site. A national 4A-level tourist attraction, the Kaifeng City Wall, at 14.4 kilometers long, is the second-largest surviving ancient city wall in China, second only to the Nanjing City Wall. Having survived wars and Yellow River floods, the present-day Kaifeng City Wall is now covered by five layers of ancient wall. Despite restorations throughout several dynasties, its scale, layout, and even key coordinates have remained unchanged.

To preserve the overall appearance of Kaifeng, a renowned historical and cultural city, the local government began renovating the city walls in 1994. According to a plan by the cultural relics protection authorities, the West Gate (Daliang Gate), the North Gate (Anyuan Gate), and the Small South Gate (Xinmen Gate) have been gradually restored. The government will also soon complete the construction of the Cao Gate (Renhe Gate), the Song Gate (Lijing Gate), and the Great South Gate (Nanxun Gate).

For centuries, Kaifeng's city walls have endured floods and wars. After restoration, the dilapidated remains of the walls are now gone, and their historic grandeur has been restored. In 1997, the Kaifeng municipal government mobilized people from all walks of life to contribute to the restoration of the ancient city wall. In just a few months, over one million yuan was raised. Less than a year later, the landmark Daliang Gate stood majestically at the wall's western end. Subsequently, the municipal government raised funds from various sources to restore Anyuan Gate (North Gate) and Xinmen (Small South Gate). Upon completion, the Kaifeng city wall will be presented to the public in an even more complete and beautiful image.

The scenic area also features the Ancient Horse Road Museum, ruins of a blockhouse, and stone drums for visitors to admire.
