SIXT Car Rental - More of a review - STAY AWAY

I actually hate it that I have to give a star. It should be NEGATIVE star but Camillo was good and he is who I am giving any STAR to not the rest of SIXT.

The staff at pickup is great. Camillo was awesome but after that it was horrible. We got a flat tire and contacting them was a NIGHTMARE. The phone system is the worst. They take your info but do nothing with it. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN SIXT!!!

I should note that after all of that now they are trying to get extra money. The tire took 20 mins to change and I am sure only a few minutes to patch as it was not a blow out but a nail like puncture. Now they trying to charge me for a day loss usage and storage fee amounting to USD 178.85. I should charge them a day for the 2 plus hrs on the phone to send someone out.

Their customer service, should you have any issues, is a frigging nightmare. I had to repeat my address and phone number about 15 times and the staff were playing hot potato with me passing me around and cutting me off causing me to have to repeat my info over and over. This started around 7pm to 8pm and finally got resolved near midnight out in the rain in the pitch black of night. I felt for the repair guy having to change the tire in the rain thanks to Customer Service's lack of service.

This was not my first time using SIXT but it will be my last and my advice is STAY AWAY. Stay FAR AWAY from SIXT.

I regret not using Dollar as I have in the past. Never had any issues like this with Dollar. They are always friendly and never had to BEG for customer service.
