3. Chapel Beach / Oak Creek Pathway Small Walk – Next, head toward back toward the Village of Oak Creek area (15–20 minutes). Walk a gentle stretch of the Oak Creek pathway—easy, relaxing, shaded, and a nice mid-day break.
4. Red Rock Scenic Byway Drive – From Oak Creek, enjoy the Red Rock Scenic Byway (Highway 179) heading north. This is the iconic drive with Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and gorgeous views all along the road. This naturally leads you toward Uptown.
5. Uptown Sedona Visit – Finish your day in Uptown Sedona for shops, galleries, snacks, or dinner. Parking is easier in late afternoon/evening, and the sunset light on the surrounding red rock formations is beautiful.
