Please suggest hotel accommodation at Chengdu

Hi,

This is a last minute decision to visit Chengdu and Chongqing for 8 Days this Nov.

We are two adults planning to arrive in Chengdu in mid Nov. Flight should touch down at Tainfu International Airport in the morning.

We intend to stay at Chengdu for 3 nights before making our way to Chongqing via the high speed rail, stayed another 3 to 4 nights at Chongqing before flying back from Chongqing. We may also book day trips out of Chengdu and Chongqing.

Would greatly appreciate experts' advice on where we should stay, preferable with specific hotel suggestions, taking into account ease of transportation for airport transfers, transfers to/from HSR stations and to/from tourists attractions. We would consider airport bus, metro or ride hailing, Didi for transfers and transportation. We will be carrying 2 medium to large luggage.
