Miami Beach Happy Hours?

We will be in Miami Beach in late January midweek. Any happy hour recommendations?

Great question! Miami Beach has tons of solid happy hour options, and even in January (midweek!) you’ll find plenty of places to grab a drink + bite without breaking the bank. Here are some standout happy hours to check out + local tips:

  • Donna Mare (Cadillac Hotel, Mid-Beach): Aperitivo hour weekdays from 3 PM–6 PM. Great spot for Italian-style spritzes, wine, and small bites on the outdoor terrace.
  • Honey’s on Collins (944 Collins Ave): Daily happy hour from 4 PM–7 PM, with half-price cocktails.
  • Beaches Bar & Grill (4299 Collins Ave): Daily drink specials in the bar from 2 PM to 7 PM — a laid-back beach bar vibe.
  • Oh! Mexico (1440 Washington Ave): Happy hour with handcrafted margaritas, classic cocktails, frozen drinks, and snacks. Many of their margaritas are $6.95 during HH.
  • The Broken Shaker (Mid-Beach): On Indian Creek Drive — a very cool, relaxed hotel-bar with creative cocktails. According to happy hour maps, specials run during weekday afternoons.
  • Matador Room (Edition Hotel, 2901 Collins Ave): Also in Mid-Beach — they often run a “Tacos & Tequila” style HH, with drink and appetizer specials.
  • Casablanca on the Bay (not exactly beach-front, but close): Their happy hour runs Monday–Friday 4 PM–7 PM, and they do 50¢ oysters + half-off beer, wine & liquor.
  • Wahoo Seafood Grill: Their happy hour is *all day, every day*. Draft beers, wine, well drinks are very reasonably priced, plus bar bites.

Local Tips:

  • Use a happy-hour finder app or website (like GoldenBuzz) to check the very latest — things can change.
  • If you're staying in Mid-Beach, focus on bars around Collins Ave / Indian Creek — more relaxed and fewer tourists than South Beach.
  • Order early — many HHs start around 3–4 PM. A few spots (like Donna Mare) wrap up by 6 PM.
  • Happy hours are typically on weekdays; since you're there midweek, you'll likely find better deals and less crowded spots.
