Where to dance

Hi all, off to Vegas in June and looking for recommendations on where to have a bloody good dance. We're not looking for huge club vibes, just somewhere with a DJ Dance Floor and eclectic music covering anything from 80s to date, Hip Hop, House and pure cheese.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like you're looking for a fun, relaxed place to dance with a great mix of music styles! Here are a few recommendations where you can get your groove on without the overwhelming atmosphere of a huge club:

  • The Foundation Room (at Mandalay Bay): This is a trendy, upscale venue with a more laid-back vibe compared to the typical Vegas mega-clubs. It has a DJ, a beautiful dance floor, and the music spans genres from hip hop to classic hits, with a great view of the Strip. It's perfect for dancing without the high-energy club scene.
  • VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub (at Rio): A bit more low-key but still lively, the VooDoo has an eclectic mix of music, including hip hop, 80s, 90s, and current hits. The vibe is more relaxed, and the rooftop location provides an amazing atmosphere for dancing and enjoying the view of the Strip.
  • Parasol Up/Down (at The Wynn): This venue offers a classy setting with a DJ playing a range of music. It’s great if you're looking for a fun and upbeat night without the intense energy of a massive nightclub. The vibe here is chic and not too rowdy, making it perfect for dancing and chilling with a great mix of songs.
  • House of Blues (at Mandalay Bay): A casual yet energetic spot with a fantastic range of live music. They play everything from rock and hip hop to some great throwback tunes, and you can dance the night away. It's not too over-the-top, but still offers a great night of music and dancing.
  • Paris Las Vegas - Le Cabaret Lounge: For a mix of French charm and great tunes, Le Cabaret offers a cool atmosphere where you can dance to everything from 80s hits to the latest dance floor anthems. It’s a bit more intimate but still has plenty of space to move around and enjoy the music.

If you’re not into the mega-club vibe but still want to dance, these places will offer a great balance of fun and eclectic tunes! Enjoy your trip and happy dancing!
