Hotel

Coming for Mystic theatre show, We are considering Hotel Petaluma or Hampton Inn. Both are Hilton hotels. Hotel Petaluma looks very nice, however reviews aren’t as good as Hampton Inn..Recommendations?

For a visit to Petaluma centered around a Mystic Theatre show, both Hotel Petaluma and Hampton Inn are convenient options, but they offer slightly different experiences.

Hotel Petaluma:

  • Newer boutique-style hotel with modern amenities, stylish rooms, and an on-site restaurant/bar.
  • Close proximity to the Mystic Theatre (walking distance), which is very convenient for evening shows.
  • Some reviewers note occasional service inconsistencies and higher rates for amenities.

Hampton Inn Petaluma:

  • Reliable chain hotel with consistently good service and clean, comfortable rooms.
  • Breakfast included, which is a plus for many travelers.
  • Further from the theater (still drivable), but generally less pricey and with better reviews regarding service and reliability.

Summary: If your priority is style, walking distance to the show, and a more boutique experience, Hotel Petaluma is appealing, but be aware of possible service inconsistencies. If reliability, consistent service, and included breakfast are more important, Hampton Inn is the safer choice. For just one night, convenience and boutique charm might outweigh minor review concerns, especially for a theater night.
