Hi.

We are coming to Vegas for the first time for 4 days at the end of May for my husbands 50th Birthday. I have been looking at hotels for what feels like forever as i do have a budget, and have narrowed it down to Bellagio or Caesars Palace. Now i am struggling to decide.

Pools and location are important and there does not seem to be much between either (unless i'm wrong). Budget wise i can either get the the base room at the Bellagio or an Augustus Strip view room for around the same price. My query is, is a better room worth it if we are going to be out most of the time? And is that worth the upgrade from colosseum or palace room?
