20th Birthday suggestions!
Hey! My daughter and I are traveling to Vegas to celebrate her 20th birthday. We are looking for some sunshine (coming from western Washington ☔️) and I figure why not Vegas?!
That said, my daughter will be turning 29, so no clubs or gambling.
We are staying at the Golden Nugget but also plan on hitting up the strip. I’ve been to Vegas but she has not.
What would you recommend doing with a 20 year old first timer? Where should we have a special
Birthday dinner?
Any and all recommendations are welcome and appreciated!!

Additional Tips:
- Relax at a Day Pool: Since you're coming from Washington, you'll want to soak up the sun! Many Vegas hotels have day pools, where you can relax, enjoy a cocktail, and soak up some rays. Try the Golden Nugget pool for a more relaxed vibe or head to a resort like The Venetian or the Cosmopolitan for more luxury pool experiences.
- Catch a Show: Vegas is known for its world-class entertainment. Consider seeing a show like Cirque du Soleil (e.g., "O" at the Bellagio or "Mystère" at Treasure Island) or a concert featuring one of your favorite artists. These are fantastic ways to enjoy the nightlife without stepping into a club.
No matter what you choose to do, Las Vegas offers plenty of fun, non-gambling experiences that will make your daughter’s 20th birthday special. Enjoy your time in Sin City!
