Anaheim hotel with restaurant for late arrival?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel for one night that has a casual restaurant or bar on site with decent, nothing fancy food, that is open late? We arrive LGB at 8:30 pm, and plan to Uber or taxi to Anaheim and want to find a hotel for just one evening. It looks like the trip from LGB to Anaheim will take about 30 minutes(?), and allowing for hotel check-in time, etc., we'd like to find a place open until at least 10, ideally 11, since I know we will be hungry (and probably be ready for a glass of wine or a beer!).

Our family doesn't arrive until the next morning and we will all be staying at Disneyland Hotel with them for the remainder of our trip, but it just doesn't make sense to pay the extra $ to stay at Disneyland Hotel that first night.

Thanks in advance!

For a one-night stay in Anaheim with a late arrival from LGB, you’ll want a hotel that is convenient, comfortable, and has an on-site restaurant or bar serving casual food late into the evening. The drive from Long Beach Airport to Anaheim typically takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on traffic, so arriving around 9:15–9:30 pm is realistic.

Some good options to consider include:

  • Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim – This hotel often has a bistro that serves food until 10 or 11 pm, with beer and wine available. Rooms are comfortable, and it’s close to Disneyland, making your transfer the next morning easy.
  • Hilton Anaheim – Located near Disneyland, the hotel features a casual restaurant and lounge that usually stays open late. Their lounge offers drinks and light fare, perfect for a late dinner or snack after arrival.
  • Hyatt House at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center – Offers an on-site bar with casual dining options, often open until at least 10 pm. Rooms are spacious and family-friendly, ideal if you want to rest before joining the rest of your family.
  • Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim – They provide a lounge area with food and drinks, and the kitchen closes later than many typical hotel restaurants. It’s convenient for a late arrival and includes breakfast for the next morning.

Other practical considerations:

  • Check each hotel’s current restaurant hours before booking, especially for late arrivals.
  • Uber or taxi rides from LGB are straightforward and generally around $35–$50 depending on traffic and time of day.
  • If you anticipate arriving close to 10:30 pm, calling ahead to the hotel restaurant to confirm they can serve food is recommended.

Any of these options will let you have a comfortable night with food and drinks available, while saving money compared to booking the Disneyland Hotel for just one night.
