Universal/Warner Brothers Tour/Disneyland

Looking for some transportation options/ recommendations/timing. My husband, 23 yr old and myself are arriving on Saturday April 26, flying into BUR, we will uber to our hotel (Hilton universal). Going to Universal on Sunday for park/fan fest.

Monday 4/28 we are going to Warner brothers tour before we head to Disney. I’m stuck trying to figure out the what time to do the tour so that we don’t hit a ton of traffic heading to DL. We would like to get to Disney before dinner. Will probably uber unless someone has a car/ transport service?

What would be a good time to do the tour? First one at 9 so that we can head to Disney around noon?

Leaving Friday May 2, flying out of SNA and want to use transfer car/company not uber.

For your Los Angeles itinerary with Universal Studios, Warner Bros. Studio Tour, and Disneyland, planning transportation and timing carefully will help you maximize your experience while minimizing time in traffic.

Since you are staying at the Hilton Universal, you have excellent proximity to Universal Studios, so your Sunday visit will be very convenient. Walking or a short Uber/Lyft ride will get you there quickly. Arriving early, around park opening, is ideal to enjoy rides before the crowds build.

For Monday, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour is in Burbank, very close to your hotel, so you can plan a morning tour. The first tour typically starts at 9:00 a.m., and it lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. This would allow you to finish by around 11:30 a.m., giving you time to head to Disneyland in Anaheim before dinner. Keep in mind that LA traffic, especially on the I-5 south toward Anaheim, can be heavy during weekday midday hours.

  • Consider departing Warner Bros. around 11:30 a.m. or noon. This should put you on the road after the morning rush, though you may still encounter some traffic. Travel time is typically 1.5 to 2 hours depending on conditions.
  • Using a car service or shuttle is recommended over Uber for reliability and comfort, particularly for the Burbank to Anaheim leg. Many local companies offer airport-style sedans or SUV transfers between these areas.
  • If you are flexible, an earlier Warner Bros. tour (if available, such as 8:30 a.m.) could get you on the road closer to 10:30 a.m., potentially reducing traffic risk and giving you more time at Disneyland before dinner.

For your departure on Friday, flying out of SNA (John Wayne Airport), arranging a private transfer or car service is a good idea to avoid relying on Uber. Options include:

  • Local private car services specializing in Orange County airport transfers.
  • Ride-share booking apps that allow scheduling in advance to guarantee pickup time.
  • Hotel concierge services can often book reliable transfers for a set price.

General tips:

  • Check real-time traffic before leaving Burbank for Anaheim, as accidents or construction can add delays.
  • Allow buffer time at Disneyland; arriving around 1:30-2:00 p.m. gives you several hours to explore before dinner without feeling rushed.
  • Bring snacks and water for the drive, especially if traveling with a younger adult who might appreciate a break mid-trip.

By starting the Warner Bros. tour at 9:00 a.m., finishing by 11:30 a.m., and leaving immediately for Disneyland, you should comfortably arrive before dinner while avoiding the worst traffic peaks. Advance-booked private transfers will make this day smoother and more predictable than relying on Uber for multiple legs.
