Open Hotels

I am traveling to Fl in April. I would like to put money into the economy in St Pete Beach. I would like to know what hotels are open for my stay.

Great question. According to the latest local and tourism-board data, not all hotels on St. Pete Beach are fully open yet. As of early April 2025, only about 67.8% of St. Pete Beach hotel rooms are reported as open.

Here are some St. Pete Beach hotels / resorts that are currently open (or likely open) or at least among the commonly listed ones to check for your stay in April:

  • Hilton Garden Inn St. Pete Beach — Beachfront resort; well-known and active.
  • Postcard Inn on the Beach — A more budget-friendly, retro-style beach hotel.
  • Alden Suites – Beachfront Resort — All-suite option on the beach, good for families.
  • Sirata Beach Resort & Conference Center — Larger resort with many amenities.
  • Bay Palms Waterfront Resort — More local, down-to-earth feel and close to the beach.
  • Palm Crest Resort Motel — Small, family-owned, very beachy.
  • The Don CeSar (“Pink Palace”) — Iconic historic hotel, though some sources suggest parts may still be under renovation or limited in service.

Things to Consider / Tips:

  • Since not 100% of the beach hotels are open, call the hotels directly to confirm availability, especially for April.
  • Check whether there are any “temporary closures” or limited service at the hotels — review the hotel’s website or ask when booking.
  • Be mindful that while some inventory is open, peak or spring-break-like demand might affect rates or available rooms.
