Restaurant Suggestions

I will be staying at a hotel in downtown Denver for a week. I am looking for casual dining lunch and dinner options that are anywhere between a 5 to 20 min drive from downtown Denver. I am specifically looking for restaurants with free parking in a parking lot or complimentary valet parking. I do NOT want to do street parking. I also do not want to walk from my hotel to the restaurant because it can get late at night. I prefer American, Italian, French, European, or steak in terms of cuisine. Chain restaurants are totally fine. Regarding price range, I am targeting approximately $15-$30 per entree. Do you have any suggestions?

Since you are staying in downtown Denver and prefer casual dining with free parking or valet, here are some options that are within a 5-20 minute drive and fit your cuisine and price preferences. These restaurants provide a relaxed atmosphere, good quality food, and parking that won’t require street meters or walking long distances.

American / Steak / European Options

  • Cherry Cricket – Classic American burgers and casual fare in the Cherry Creek area. Offers free parking in a lot behind the restaurant. Burgers and entrees fall within your $15-$30 range.
  • Fogo de Chão (Denver Downtown) – Brazilian steakhouse with valet parking available. While the full dining experience can be pricier, some lunch options fall closer to your budget.
  • Hops & Pie – American comfort food and craft beer near Wash Park, free parking available in the lot during off-peak hours.
  • Jax Fish House – Casual seafood and American dishes, located in Cherry Creek. Parking lot available for guests, reasonable pricing for lunch and dinner.

Italian / French / European Options

  • Il Posto – Italian small plates and pasta, located in Cherry Creek North, with available lot parking nearby. Lunch and dinner options generally within $15-$30 per entree.
  • Frasca Food and Wine (Boulder, ~20 min) – Italian/French-inspired cuisine, offers valet parking. Portions and pricing may be higher at dinner but lunch specials fit your range.
  • Beatrice & Woodsley – Modern American/European with small plates in Cherry Creek, valet parking available.
  • Pomodoro Restaurant – Classic Italian fare with parking lot access, good casual ambiance for both lunch and dinner.

Tips for Parking and Timing

  • Cherry Creek and Wash Park neighborhoods are great for multiple options with free or validated parking lots.
  • Valet parking is commonly offered in downtown hotels and some high-end restaurants; calling ahead can ensure availability.
  • For casual, family-friendly dining, consider weekdays or early evening to avoid heavy lot usage.

Overall, Cherry Creek, Wash Park, and parts of downtown provide a solid mix of American, Italian, French, and steak options with parking and casual vibes. These spots let you drive from your hotel without worrying about street parking, and most provide entrees within your target budget.
