Day 3 & 4 Trip Report

Started with breakfast at Clayton’s. Yes, I had apple pie 🥧 for breakfast and I’d do it again! Yummy! We took the ferry over and spent the morning at the USS Midway. Last year we toured the Intrepid in NYC. Cool to compare and contrast. My hubs had a blast. Many vets were there as guides sharing stories for Memorial Day. Very cool. We then went to Tuna Harbor to see Unconditional Surrender Statue and Bob Hope Salute.

Next we took an uber to Lou and Mickeys for a delicious lunch. The food and service were some of the best on our trip. We started with the goat cheese and then had steak and rolls with au jus, horseradish, fries.

After lunch we did our own walking tour of the gas lamp district seeing: Chinese Museum, Horton Hotel, Gas Lamp Museum, Old City Hall, Keating Nuilding, Louise Bank and Bakboa Theater. The architecture and vibe is cross between a western Boston and Nashville! Loved it. Great stop at Ghirardelli for cocoa!
