We will be in San Diego and have tickets for the Balboa theatre on a Sunday afternoon

This a very weird question but I have claustrophobia and sometimes the underground parking garages do not have an open public stairway, an elevator is the only option., which I cannot use

We are seniors with limited walking ability. Any hep or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
