On August 13, the Tiananmen Management Committee issued a reminder stating that in accordance with the refurbishment arrangements for Tiananmen Square and its surrounding areas, in order to ensure the safety of tourists and project, Tiananmen Square will be temporarily closed from August 20 to 23, and some areas will be reopened on August 24 based on the actual situation.
