Enchantment resort

Hello all!

We were considering staying at Enchantment to relax after several days exploring the Grand Canyon and some spots in Utah. We were thinking of spending time relaxing at the pool but not sure of some of the reviews. Talk of loud music and a lively pool scene, if it would be all that relaxing. For anybody who stayed at an Enchantment can you describe the pool scene for me?

Enchantment Resort in Sedona is known for its stunning location amid the red rocks and its focus on wellness and relaxation, but the pool scene can vary depending on the time of year and day.

Pool atmosphere:

  • The main pool area tends to have a mix of families, couples, and resort guests, so it’s not a party scene like some big Vegas-style resorts. During peak season (spring and summer), there can be some lively energy, especially mid-day, but it’s generally moderate. Loud music is not typically a permanent feature; any music is usually low-volume and meant for ambiance.
  • There is also a separate adults-only pool area at the Mii amo spa or private cabanas, which is much quieter and ideal if you are looking for a more serene environment to relax.
  • Poolside service is available, so you can enjoy drinks and light snacks without leaving the water or lounging area.

Other considerations:

  • Morning and late afternoon tend to be the calmest times at the pool, with fewer guests and a more tranquil vibe.
  • If your primary goal is complete quiet and relaxation, booking a cabana or staying closer to the spa area can help avoid any mid-day liveliness.
  • The resort also has extensive hiking trails and spa facilities, so you can combine pool time with other relaxing activities away from any busier areas.

Overall, while the main pool has some social energy during busy periods, it is far from a disruptive party environment. For a tranquil experience, choosing morning swims, cabanas, or the adults-only pool area will provide the relaxation you’re seeking after exploring the Grand Canyon and Utah.
