Is the Capella Bangkok worth 7K a night? Only after staying do you understand the "detail-obsessed paradise" of top luxury vs. the real drawbacks

First, the moments that won me over:
✨Egyptian cotton bedding so soft it feels like sinking into clouds, night turndown service quietly draws the curtains, even the slippers have a fluffy, high-end feel
✨Riverside breakfast with an à la carte menu is super exquisite, eggs Benedict with eel + the morning breeze of the Chao Phraya River, full of ceremony
✨Spa offers free hot spring pools + steam sauna, the entrance hand spray fragrance is high-end, the bar always has champagne and small snacks

But the drawbacks are also real:
💔The so-called "world's best" pool is surprisingly small, Tiffany blue is great for photos, but swimming feels like going in circles in a bathtub
💔River view rooms at 7K come with murky yellow river water (the butler said there’s more sediment in the rainy season), not as good as the blue sea view at Shenzhen seaside hotels
💔Service is warm at first but then cold, after the bar opens to the public the white peacock photo spot is always crowded with tourists, guests end up being ignored
💔The hard decor is not as luxurious as Dusit Thani, combining Eastern and Western aesthetics but the detail quality didn’t meet expectations

Summary: 3-4K is very worth it for the details and privacy, but don’t splurge on 7K! Suitable for couples on dates or solo travelers seeking ceremony, for families better to choose the Four Seasons next door~
