[Fukuoka] Ohori Park

Ohori Park is located in the center of Fukuoka City. There is a large lake in the center of the park. It is not only a good place for local residents to relax, but also one of the must-visit attractions for many tourists. The history of Ohori Park can be traced back to the Edo period, when it was the outer moat of Fukuoka Castle, used to defend the castle. Over time, the outer moat gradually evolved into a vast lake. In 1929, the Fukuoka City Government decided to convert this place into a park, and it was officially opened to the public in 1941.
What greets Ohori Park is the wide lake and the leisurely atmosphere. The lakeside trail is suitable for walking and jogging. It is surrounded by green trees and the air is fresh. There are also cafes in the park. You can rest when you are tired of walking and enjoy the beauty of the fusion of nature and the city.

🚗Transportation: Get off at the subway "Ohori Park Station (Ōhorikōen Station)", and walk about 5 minutes to the park entrance
