The Fukuoka Asian Art Museum (Fukuoka Asian Art Museum), opened in 1999, is the world's only museum dedicated to the collection and exhibition of modern and contemporary Asian art. It opened in 2029. Tickets for the exhibition are ¥200 per person, with special exhibitions priced separately. Located next to Susaki Park in Tenjinkita, Fukuoka City, the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Museum houses modern Asian art from the 19th century to the present, spanning 23 countries and regions. Through modern artworks, visitors can easily understand the Asian history and cultural context behind the works. The museum features not only static exhibits but also contemporary works that combine visual art with social issues, with a focus on Asia.
