[Amagoi-dake] 🏔️ Suzuka Seven Mountains

🏖️Overview:

Amagoi-dake is a 1,238m high mountain located in Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture, and is one of the Suzuka Seven Mountains⛰️. The name of the mountain is said to have come from the belief in rainmaking☔️, as the name suggests. Near the summit, there is a pond💦 called Otoge no Sawa, where forest tree frogs🐸 seem to live. You can enjoy the view of the Suzuka mountains.

💞Reasons why we recommended it:

This time, we visited Amagoi-dake❗️We parked in the parking lot🅿️ one stop before (on the west side) instead of the parking lot at the west entrance of Takehira Pass and set off. We started from the Ibaraya trailhead▶️Suddenly there was a steep climb‼ ️
And then a continuous attack of climbing and descending. Also, maybe because there aren't many climbers, the path is hard to find. We almost got lost a few times.
I arrived at Higashi-Amagoi-dake ㊗️ feeling a little tired 🎉
I could see Mt. Ontake, Mt. Norikura, and Mt. Hakusan,
and my excitement was building as I arrived at Mt. Amagoi-dake ㊗️ 🎉
The two great mountains of Gozaisho and Kamagatake stood side by side before my eyes.
So cool 😃
After lunch 🍱, I crossed the stream many times and made my way down the mountain. The road was along the stream, so I thought it was cool in summer 🍉 and completed my descent. ☔️It was good that the weather ☀️ was good for Mt. Amagoi-dake.

📍Location:
