📍Naka Ward, Yokohama City - Chinatown
Yokohama Chinatown, one of Japan's largest Chinatowns, is a gourmet paradise with around 500 Chinese restaurants and shops. It offers a variety of street foods that you can enjoy on the go, such as steamed buns, xiaolongbao, sesame balls, and bubble tea. The area is also home to many historic buildings like the Kanteibyo Temple, creating an atmosphere that feels like stepping into another country. While weekends can be crowded, mornings and weekdays are relatively less busy, allowing for a more relaxed stroll. Its convenient location, just a short walk from Motomachi-Chukagai Station, is another highlight. At night, the streets come alive with neon lights and the aroma of delicious food, offering a vibrant experience different from the daytime.
