It has since burned down four times, and its current form was donated by Tokugawa Iemitsu in 1644 ‼ ︎
It is the tallest of all the ancient pagodas in Japan, standing at about 55m high 🫢
This is the only place where you can see it reflected in the pond ‼ ︎
