🌲 Tataka Visitor Center § Free Attraction in Xinyi, Nantou

Tataka is at an altitude of 2610 meters, the highest point on the New Central Cross-Island Highway!
It is the intersection of Taiwan Route 18 (Chiayi-Yushan) and Taiwan Route 21 (Shuili-Yushan).
The visitor center offers guided tours, ecological story displays, and a restaurant.
The parking lot's observation platform provides a view of the layered mountain ranges,
and in the evening, you might catch a glimpse of the sunset and the rolling sea of clouds.
Note: Monkeys are present, please do not feed them!

✳️ Closed on Lunar New Year's Eve and the second Tuesday of each month, extended by one day if it falls on a holiday.
