📍Tamsui Old Street is the busiest area in Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is centered on Zhongzheng Road, stretching from Gongguan Lane in the west to Chongjian Street in the east. Tamsui District is located on the southwest coast of New Taipei City, with the Tamsui River as its main river. Historically, this town was the starting point for the Spanish landing in Taiwan and establishing a maritime trade base in northern Taiwan. It was formerly known as "Huwei" and later renamed "Tamsui," after the Tamsui River.

📍Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf is a popular tourist attraction located at the western end of Tamsui District, New Taipei City. It is situated on the east bank of the Tamsui River estuary and was an important fishing port in northern Taiwan. It was formerly known as Tamsui Second Fishing Port. To improve the fishing port operations and the living environment of the fishing village, the Taiwan Provincial Government selected this location as a multifunctional demonstration fishing port, providing substantial funding and planning the Fisherman's Wharf as a high-quality park that combines fishery development and tourism. It has successfully diversified the functions of the fishing port.
📍Originally just a traditional small fishing port, Fisherman's Wharf now boasts a beautiful floating pier. The most famous attractions are the 330-meter-long boardwalk, the harbor park, and the Lover's Bridge, forming a circular route that allows visitors to fully experience the charm of the fishing port. Standing on the boardwalk, you can enjoy a distant view of Guanyin Mountain and the Taiwan Strait at the mouth of the river.
