Swim until the sea turns blue, pink, and then golden... This dreamy experience is hidden in the infinity pool of Oiso Prince Hotel.

I stayed at this hotel purely for its infinity pool, and the scenery was just as stunning as the photos—breathtakingly beautiful. I strongly recommend arriving before sunset to fully immerse yourself in the magical transition of the sky and sea from deep blue to pinkish purple, and finally to a golden hue. However, the poolside was crowded with couples taking photos, making me, focused on swimming with goggles and a swim cap, stand out as an unusual sight.

The hotel is about an hour's drive from Tokyo, making it an ideal destination for a weekend getaway near the city. We booked a triple room for three girls, which was essentially a twin room with an extra bed, offering spacious accommodation. You can choose between sea view and mountain view rooms, but the overall facilities are somewhat dated. Despite a renovation in 2017, the signs of aging are still noticeable.

One thing to note is the lack of dining options around the hotel. Apart from a rare find of a Chinese restaurant, there are no other choices. Therefore, I highly recommend booking a meal-inclusive package to fully enjoy a relaxing vacation.
