Stroll along the ginkgo tree-lined path in Osaka Castle Park, where hundreds of trees turn golden simultaneously, and fallen leaves form a natural carpet that crunches underfoot with every step. The maple trees by the moat dye the water vermilion, creating a stunning contrast with the white walls of the castle keep. Highly recommended is the autumn foliage corridor in the Nishinomaru Garden, where sunlight filtering through the maple leaves makes the entire space blaze with vibrant colors.
Watch photographers set up tripods to capture the castle keep’s reflection, while children laugh and toss ginkgo leaves around. This historic stage reveals its gentlest side in autumn. Occasionally, visitors dressed in kimono stroll by holding paper umbrellas, evoking a sense of stepping back into the golden era of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
